I'mmm Bacck!

We had the BEST time at camp! Love love loved it! I was very hesitant to go, but WOW, it was great. I swelled up like Shamu, but I have since gone back to normal. Our group was the best too. I really am always amazed at how just after one week you can be so close with 12 different individuals. We had college freshman and they were AWESOME! I could not have hand picked 12 people better than what we had! The curriculum was excellent, the praise time great, and our service projects were great too! Could not have asked for a better week. I was known as "the pregnant woman" for the week. Hated the word "woman." It sounds so old, so I made them call me their pregnant friend. Sounds MUCH better to me. Matt and I were so blessed to have been there last week. It was our 3rd time to lead together, and it always strengthens us so much.

I also got to see Darby in the evenings too. That was a huge plus. I wish I could have seen all of my A-town friends, but really on the tight Kadesh schedule you really have NO time for personal time. Any spare time I had my eyes shut!

Hudson had fun in Tyler. I never worry when he is away with his grandparents. I know he is in good hands and being loved on the whole time. We sure did miss him bad. I was so glad to get him back on Saturday. He seemed so much older and cuter since he was away! :) It always is a drag though after he returns. Our family always says how excellent he is and that he could not have possibly been any better. BUT once he is back in our care we get the remains of a child who was entertained 100% of the time, and had no discipline. So we have spent our week getting back into our normal routine. But really, I know that is what grandparents are for....to spoil the grandchildren rotten!

Saturday once we got home, my mom and grandmother came into town. One of our family friends little boy (at least he is in my eyes) got married. It was really fun and great to see old friends. Hudson was happy to see his UNK too.

Hudson started swimming lessons on Monday. It's been fun. Matt gets in with him while I "layout" for 30 minutes. There are other dads there that get in with their kids, so that makes me feel a little better. I was worried it was going to be Matt and then like 10 moms. Matt would have done it though! He's super dad! I enjoy watching them play in the water. It has been good for Hudson too. The first day he was actually pretty nervous of the "big pool." Each day he gets more and more comfortable with it.

Well, I am almost now 37 wks along and feeling good. I really can't complain much. I am going to the doctor weekly now and so far so good. We have talked about inducing at 39 weeks, but I am just not too sure how I feel about it. Hudson's delivery went so great and almost too easy, and I think the reason was because he was ready to come. I hear the second is usually easier than your first. At least that is what I am hoping. Sooo Harper may be here the first or second week of July! All I know is that I cannot wait to hold her and see her sweet face! I am especially excited now that I got to hold our newest addition to the family, Arden Paul Wolfe. He was born last week (3 weeks early) weighing in at almost 10 lbs!!! What on earth would he have been if he were full term??? But he is precious and such a wonderful addition to their sweet family. I know Harper and Arden will be the best of cousins!!!

ALL ready for his swimming lessons. These sunglasses are Hudson's favorite! He doesn't mind them on wrong either.
Daddy and Hudson!

Jacob's Ladder at ACU! One of my new favorite spots!

Our AWESOME Group 20!
Unk and Hud!

    Hey Allison,

This is Amy Anderson Stanley. Shelley sent me an email telling me to check out Jason's new blog with pictures of Arden and I saw that he had a link to your blog. It has been wonderful catching up on you and your family. I am so excited for your family's upcoming arrival of Harper Faith. Hope all goes well. You're in my prayers.

    Love,

  10. I am so glad you are back! I have been missing seeing you -- maybe this weekend at church?

My parents always joke with me that Sam & Seth have to go to Boot Camp at our house after spending some time at theirs! They do come back sweet & rotten!

  11. I'm glad you had fun at Kadesh. I haven't been to ACU in almost 2 years so I still haven't seen Jacob's ladder. I'm glad they've added some new art since we were there. Hang in there...not too much longer until Harper is here!! Don't forget to post some pics of her nursery.
