Hudson is doing great during his swimming lessons. He and Matt have had a great time. I am glad we did it with Hudson, but I think we won't do them again with our other kids. After watching what they do, I think it would be easy to teach yourself. We would much rather join a pool for a summer than just pay for swimming lessons. I do think the lessons for the older kids (with just student and teacher) is far more worth it! Oh well, you live and learn! At least it has been a fun experience!
Saturday we played outside most of the day. It was perfect! Matt did yard work from 10:30-3:30. It needed it. We have not been able to get out there because of the rain lately. Hudson reunited with his long lost outside toys. He went "wimmin" and played on the slide. He had a blast.
Today is a rare treat! I am having my house "spring cleaned" by a lady a friend referred me to. She is going to spend ALL day here doing things you don't really like to do. Windows, fans, baseboards....and everything else. I am super excited! We are going to leave and go to the zoo then eat an early dinner at Mi Cocina. Yum! Hudson starts VBS tonight at the church right down the street. I think he'll enjoy it. He goes until Wed. night.
He is still doing so good sleeping in his big boy bed. I am still so amazed at how great he is doing with it. I am really proud. He is also tee teeing in the potty everyday. We haven't switched to underwear yet. Just pull-ups. He likes it. I don't know when I'll quite the diapers. I have heard your first can regress when you add another to the picture, so I just don't want to have too many life changing events going on. I think we'll jump head first into potty training after Hudson is used to his new baby sister being around for a while. For now, we are just having fun celebrating going potty in the big potty!

Hi there!! Hope that you are having a good week!! Be on the lookout for some mail for Harper... I mailed her a little something today. :) I am so excited for you guys. You will absolutely love having a little boy AND a little girl. And -- Hudson will be an amazing big brother to his sweet Harper! BTW - I think that I called you while you were in Abilene. If you want to get together sometime before Harper gets here, then I'd love to plan a date!! Or -- we can just wait 'til she gets here and we can get our boys AND our girls together. How fun!
