Christmas in July....

Here is why it's Christmas in July: Harper's birthday is the 5th, Hudson's the 13th, and our Anniversary is the 26th. That is A LOT of celebrating going on, and I love it.

Life is good, busy, but good! Harper turned 4 weeks old today. It's hard to believe that she'll be a month old on Sunday. In a way, I feel like she has been apart of us for so long, but then I also feel like we just brought her home. She is the sweetest baby, and easy too. She just fits right in perfectly with us.

My time with just me and the kids has been good. It was an adjustment having both by myself, but we have adapted great. We had our difficult moments, but hey, we survived. It is hard being a nursing mother with a VERY active 2 year old boy running around. Thankfully, he has taken so well to Harper. I could not ask for more.

Matt and I celebrated our 4th anniversary last Thurs. So much has happened over these last 4 years. Here's all the "life changes" that have taken place: we got married, graduated from ACU, moved to Plano, Matt started working at Wells Fargo, I got my first job teaching Kindergarten in Coppell, BIG SURPRISE!! we got pregnant (while on the pill mind you) with Hudson, "retired" after my first year of teaching, had our sweet Hudson, became a stay-at-home mommy, Matt's been promoted twice, moved to FW, bought our first house, got pregnant with Harper, and lastly had our sweet baby Harper.

What a wonderful journey it has been and we have only just begun! I still am very much head-over-hills, giddy newlywed so in love I could burst in love with Matthew Mullins. I tell him all the time and it is so true...there is no man, in my eyes, that could even begin to compares to him. All of the wonderful "life-changes" listed above are so much sweeter because they are shared with my sweet hub of 4 years!!! (it's ok, barf, but every word is true)!!! Every year new things are added to that list. Can't wait to see what's in store for us this year! I love you Matt!!!

A KISSIN picture taken last Sept. while we were in San Francisco. You are supposed to kiss in front of the San Francisco heart!
Our sweet Baby Harper.

Bed time in our house lately! Hudson LOVES for Harper to lay on his "big boy bed" with him. He doesn't want her to miss anything from our nightly bed time routine.
Daddy had to join in all the fun too!

  5. Love it! I am so happy for you guys and your little family. It seems like not too long ago we were playing cards on a Tuesday night after dinner talking about where we would be in 5 years and what things we wanted to do in our lives. WOW how time flies! Isn't it amazing what blessings God will bring.

  8. We will not be at church on Sat. We are going to Amarillo to see family. Tomorrow I am going to the doctor at 8:30 downtown and could always swing by for a few minutes. What do you think?
