Harper was FREE!!

YUP, our bill is free and clear thanks to my very persistent husband who bugged the administration at Harris SW hospital until he got what he wanted.

So after my horrible experience there our baby girl did not end up costing us a dime. But if you think about it....who on earth would want to have to pay for the kind of treatment that I received there? Also, why would you have to pay doctor's bills when no doctor even delivered her? It doesn't make since to me either, but the bills have been pouring in. I think they were afraid that we may take further action, so thankfully, something was done.

But in all honesty, I would GLADLY have paid every single penny plus MORE to have not gone thru what we did. It still has it's emotional affects on me here 2 months later. I don't know if I'll ever be able to talk about what happened without getting upset.

Thankfully, in the end, they ended up treating us right. However, I will never step foot back in that labor and delivery unit ever again. And if you are thinking of delivering there, please talk to me first. I am sure you could have a positive experience, but I'll let ya know what nurse you DONT want to have. (Yes, she still is employed there).

I am so glad this can all be put behind us now!

  1. WOW!! That's amazing. I don't think I have ever heard of a hospital, or doctor for that matter, not charging for services!

We are currently fighting over extra bills after we already paid for in vitro. I know how that feels. Not fun!

I am so glad yours worked out! :)
Didn't see you at church tonight.
