So here is one of those fun Holiday quiz's that I thought I would fill out! I do have all of my Christmas shopping done....YAY! 15 more days until Christmas!!!
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Just like my mom does. Where every package looks the same. Beautiful wrapping paper with HUGE bows on each gift. But Santa's gifts are never wrapped.2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial
3. When do you put up the tree? The weekend before Thanksgiving. The longer I can enjoy Christmas decorations the better!
4. When do you take the tree down the tree? The weekend after New Years.
5. Do you like egg nog? YES, with FRESHLY grated Nutmeg...Yummm!
6. Favorite gift received as a child? Has to be my Cabbage Patch doll when I was either 4 or 5.
7. Do you have a nativity scene? No
8. Hardest person to buy for? Matt because I like to give him the "perfect gift."
9. Easiest person to buy for? My kids.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? MAIL! I love sending out our Christmas card (should be ready by late next week), and I LOVE LOVE LOVE receiving them. I really really hope people don't e-mail Christmas Cards. What is this world coming to?
11.Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I can't think of anything off the top of my head.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? I have several: "Love Actually", "The Holiday", "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation", and both "Home Alone movies."
13. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Never
14. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? You name it...
15. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Clear inside and outside.
16. Favorite Christmas song? O Holy Night, I always get chills when I hear it,
17. Travel at Christmas or stay home? We travel to Tyler to be with my family for Christmas.
18. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Donder, Blitzen, Cupid and Comet....and the most important one of all Rudolph!
19. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas morning.
20. Most annoying thing about this time of year? How the holidays can bring out the worst in people. I have never been around ruder people/drivers than I do in late November/December.
21. Favorite ornament theme or color? I had a Christmas shower before Matt and I got married, so I love all of the ornaments that I received then, and the ones that I am collecting for Hudson and Harper are very special too.
22. Favorite food for Christmas dinner? All our traditional family favorites.
23. What do you want for Christmas this year? Good health for my family & friends, and joy for 2008....and maybe a diamond ring???

I loved the quiz, too. We did have a lot of the same answers. I think it's because we were both sprinkled with the same amount of pure fabulousness.
Oh, and a diamond ring??? I am sending Matt the Tiffany & Co book right now :P
Glad you all are better now. We went retro this year (Shelley says white trashy) and went with the FLOCKED tree with big colored bulbs. I love it. We kept the traditional white lights out front, but inside is a Fiesta!! btw- ya'll coming over Saturday night?
