Fun, Fun, Fun!

We had a BUSY Saturday, but it was so much fun!!! We were at Sea World by 11:30. Once we were there we headed straight to Shamu to get "good seats" for the 12:00 show. OK, if you guys ever come to San Antonio and go to Sea World, get to the Shamu show AT LEAST 30 minutes early for decent seats. I guess when we want our front row seats we'll have to get there like 45 minutes early. I'm learning as I go. We still didn't get "great" seats, but they were much better than last time. Matt and Hudson spotted some down close, so we split up for the show. I didn't want Harper to get soaked. After Shamu we headed straight for the ski show. It's Hudson's favorite, and I have to say it is definitely mine too. It's so fun to watch, and so exciting. Next time we HOPE to go see the other shows. From there we went to the Lost Lagoon water park. It was our first time to ever see it. It was really fun and super neat. Hudson LOVED it. The weather was just perfect. Not too hot, but it was hot enough to be in water. Hudson and Matt went down a few of the water slides and Hudson had a blast. {And here's an FYI for those of you planning summer trips to Sea World. They said that in the summer the Lost Lagoon hits maximum capacity by noon, and then you have to wait for people to leave before you can enter. I'm glad they told us that!!!} We left there about 3:30, and got home and put the kids down for a very late nap. Again, Hudson was asleep before we left the parking lot. We woke up the kids, bathed them, got them dressed and went to the Fiesta Party that was for our neighborhood. The neighborhood pool opened up yesterday so they had a big party. It had 2 bounce houses, fajitas, music, and games for the kids. It was really fun, and great to see all the other kids and families that live in our neighborhood. We are excited to go the pool this summer.

We were all set and ready to go to Sea World again this afternoon. And when I say all ready, I mean all ready. All 4 of us in our swimsuits, sun screen on, and JUST about to load the car. We looked outside and it had turned cloudy, windy, and chilly within like 20 minutes. So that was REAL FUN telling Hudson that we were not going. He was upset, but I gave him a Popsicle and we went outside. Not a fair compromise, but it worked.

So now today we are doing what we need to do. Clean house and grocery shop. It was such a fun weekend though. Matt's mom, dad, sisters, and sisters boyfriend are all coming in 2 weeks. We are going to do all the fun San Antonio stuff with them. Matt and I are super excited about going to Sea World with them because he and I want to split up and go do all the fun big kid stuff. Like the roller coasters, lazy river, and FUN water rides. We'll be like, "y'all have fun and we'll see ya when it closes." HA!
