We're back!!!

Boy is it good to be home again! We had a wonderful time away, but I am glad to have us all in our own beds again.

The weekend before last we were in Stephenville for Courtney and Bobs wedding. It was just beautiful. The whole entire weekend was just perfect and we loved every second. The kids were amazing too. I was a little nervous because the Friday we got there they had NO nap and didn't go to bed until 10. Saturday they were perfect, and had so much fun at the wedding, but again they did not go to be until 11. Those 2 times are unheard of for my kids. I am such a routine/schedule type mommy. It did take 2 days to get them back on track. Sunday and Monday they were EXHAUSTED! We very sadly told Matt goodbye on Sunday, and off we went to Tyler. Matt's parents met my mom in Bedford, and we stopped for 30 minutes to see my cousin and her family. Too short of a visit, but it was good to see them. We arrived in Tyler Sunday afternoon and had a great, fun-filled week. We all met John and loved him. He and mom will be getting married this fall, so it was great to finally have a face with the name. My mom was the happiest I have seen her in years, so we are all thrilled for the 2 of them. We spent a few days going to the lake with my dad. It was so fun and soo nice to be out on the lake. The kids loved it too. Hudson fished and tubed and we skiied. It was perfect. I also went to Sulpher Springs a night (away from the kids) and spent the night with my grandmother. {The kids stayed with Daddy Pops and Grammy. They had so much fun!!!} It was so good to see Suepa and see my cousin Jennifer and her little girl Zoe. We shopped and Suepa cooked a wonderful meal. I stayed over late visiting with Jennifer. It was fun to catch up with her. Matt arrived on Thursday just in time for dinner. We were SO EXCITED to see him. We just don't do well apart from each other. I can't stand it, so it was wonderful to see him walk thru those doors. The kids were so excited too. Mom went all out for dinner. It was delicious. Friday we spent the day at the lake again.....more fun. Saturday was a lazy day. I was getting the laundry done and getting our things together to go home on Sunday. Matt and I went on a Barnes and Noble date while the kids napped. It was Suzanna's senior prom Saturday night, so it was fun seeing her off. She was beautiful! When she left we all went out for dinner and then went to bed early. Sunday we got up and had breakfast with Daddy Pops and Grammy then hit the road for SA! It was a 5 hour drive. The kids were good, but it did get a little long towards the end. Having such a long drive to visit both of our families will take some getting used to. We'll be back in Tyler in 2 weeks for Suzanna's graduation. She is going to ACU with a soccer scholarship in the Fall. I am so proud of her and so excited about this new adventure coming up in her life. We spent yesterday, Memorial Day, together. We went to the pool, I put all of our stuff away, and we cooked out for dinner. It was great having one day at home before the work week started.

So here are a BILLION pictures. If you start at the bottom and go up they'll be in order. Enjoy!!!

  9. You guys have been busy having way too much fun! Isn't the greatest feeling when your child plays and plays and is worn out at the end of the night? It looks like that was Hudson's life over the past couple weeks! Also, I love ALL of Harper's clothes. If I ever have a girl, you must tell me where to shop. : )
