The past 2 years have just flown by! I can't even believe Harper is 2!!! What a joy our sweet Harper is. She is has one of the sweetest spirits that I know. I love how she is every bit the girly girl, but then knows the names of every super hero there is. I love that she is so sensitive and loving, but can be tough when it comes to playing rough with her big brother. She can be so calm, but then oh boy can she ever be the drama queen. I love that when Huddy isn't looking she is on the floor playing pirates or batman, but moments later changing her baby doll's diaper. Harper still loves to sit in mommy and daddy's lap to read, she loves to cuddle while she 'wakes up' in the morning to drink her sippy cup, she sleeps every night with her 'nunny and bay' (bunny and blanket), she will grab every toy that she can possibly hold and come sit in my lap and then she'll do inventory to make sure every toy is accounted for, and rarely will you find her without a smile or giggling....
At 2 Harper loves her baby dolls, loves to play outside, loves books, loves to color, loves going to 'school' to play with her friends, loves church, loves to sing and dance, loves Sea World but especially loves Shamu and the dolphins, is fearless when it comes to the swimming pool, loves her friends and her family, calls Hudson 'Bubba", is shy when in a big crowd, wants mommy over anyone else {smile}, sleeps 10-12 hours a night, takes a 2-3 hour nap everyday, is a fairly 'decent' eater, can down her sippy cup faster than I can take one sip of my drink, says please and thank you, gives the best kisses and hugs, can pucker those big lips better than anyone I know, refers to herself as 'sissy poo', loves having a bow in her hair and will ask for one when her hair isn't fixed, and is the most lovable baby girl I know. There are so many moments during a day when I just have to stop go over and hug and kiss her over and over again because she did something cute and funny. Harper is everything and more that I could have ever dreamed she would be. I am thankful everyday for the precious child she is, and for the joy she brings to us.

She is so cute! I love it! And as I read what you wrote, and looked at the pictures, I couldn't help but think, "OH MY GOODNESS...I'm gonna have a little girl!" Haha. Anyhow, hope yall are great. And hope Harper's birthday is great!

ReplyDeleteHappy 2nd Birthday, Harper! It seems like yesterday that I driving early, early in the morning to make her birth. Matt called and I was asking him how much longer, when I heard her crying...none of us made it...but that is another story, huh?
