Baby #3

I feel so bad that I have not posted anything about this pregnancy.  It is just smokin' by in a hurry.  This poor little number 3 is so different than my pregnancy with Hudson...even Harper too.  Someone could ask me how far along with Hudson I was, & I could give you down to the 1/2 day of how pregnant I was...and I would often round up if it was past the half way point in the week.  I read those sweet books with the pictures of what your baby looks like & what developed that day.  This time around someone will ask how far along I am & I have to pull out my calendar to see.  Or I'll say, "somewhere between 15-17 weeks".  Pitiful I know...  Currently we are 17 weeks along and things are going great.

I feel great.  Still tired, but I just think that is how my life is going to be having 2 other little ones to entertain.  We talk everyday about what this one is....BOY or GIRL???  It's the million dollar question.  Hudson insists it's a BOY, Harper insists it's a GIRL.  Matt thinks GIRL, I think BOY!  Most of our family thinks it's another girl, while a few think boy.  We are all over the place.  We cannot wait to find out.  Yes, for a while there I really wanted to make it a surprise because we will be thrilled either way, but the planner in me HAS-TO-KNOW-YESTERDAY.  I just love all of the planning and calling the baby by it's name.  I feel like I get to know the baby even before they are here.  I love having the nursery all complete with clothes put away.  I love to sit in the nursery and rock and dream about who will fill this room.  I think people who are surprised are so fantastic and strong!  I wish I could be like you.  So YES, we will be finding out this baby's gender.  We will know soon!!!

I'd love to know what your guesses are on the sex of this little one.  Be sure and put your 2 cents in in the poll to the side, or leave a comment with your guess.  This makes it so fun!  Matt and I have been throwing names around like crazy.  I am just one of those people that once we know the sex of the baby, it's gotta have a name THAT DAY, & we start calling it by name from then on.  We have a girl name narrowed down to 1...maybe 2.  One girl name we have loved since we were pregnant with Hudson, and it's an "H" name.  We did not know if we were going to stick with "H's" because we chose Hudson and Harper because we loved the names, not for the letter.  Our boy list is rather long.  It has every lettered name under the sun that we like.  We do have 1 or 2 "H" names that we do love.  I can't wait to decide and name this little one.  Matt and I really are on the same page with names which makes it nice.

We already love this baby so much and cannot hardly wait to meet him/her.  What a great day it'll be!

Poor Hudson I think will need the next 5 months to get used to the idea if it is in fact a girl.  He prays at night that he won't be mad if it's a girl.  HA!  He also told my dad while driving to the grocery store in Tyler that if he ends up with 2 sisters he will be SOO EMBARRASSED.  What a stinker!!  HA!!  One other funny story I want to remember is when we told him that we were pregnant a few months ago and asked him what he thought we were having & of course he said BOY.  I told him that God may give us a girl, and his response was, "well, if it's a girl, I'll sure miss Harper."  Like we were going to give her away or something...he thinks there is only room for another BOY!  We'll be driving around and out of the blue he'll say, "Mommy, I really am worried we are going to have ANOTHER girl."  It's definitely on his mind A LOT.  I told Matt we have to get a picture of his little face if it is a girl...I know it'll be one to remember.  Now Harper....well, she wants a sister.  Even after the week with Camden, she still wants a girl.  She comes up with crazy names to name our baby like ChiCo, Shrada, Joju, Litzi, Gona, Fola....and for a boy...Grala.  (These are all names of her animals).  She asked me one time to "PLLLLLEASE have a baby dinosaur instead of a baby."  Pretty BIG request.

They are just too funny, and I love all the questions and crazy things they say.  (You CANNOT EVEN begin to IMAGINE the things Hudson has said and asked....OH MY!!)!!  It's the kind of stuff that nearly makes you swerve off of the road out of sheer shock.  I have a BIG THINKER on my hands, & generic answers do not suffice with this little guy.  It has made this pregnancy so much fun watching it through their eyes.  I am so confident that no matter what we end up having, they will LOVE this baby so much.  We already do, and we all pray for him/her every single day.  He or she is already very much a part of this family.

Even with the hustle and bustle of summer, and now almost school time, I do not take this pregnancy for granted.  What a gift we have been given.  Thank you Lord!!!
