Have you ever had a secret.....

THAT NEARLY KILLED YOU???  Well, we have had a HUGE secret and it is about to drive me CRAZY!  We caught a glimpse of the gender of our sweet little number 3 well over a week ago & have not said a WORD because we wanted to do something fun to surprise the grandparents.  (I did tell a few of my close friends, my sister, and sisters in law..just because I HAD TO)!!  We kept Hudson and Harper FAR away from every phone call that we received from family members just because we were confident that they would spill the beans...(and they TOTALLY would have).    I nearly broke up with my father-in-law forever because he was camping last week and CALLED EVERY SINGLE DAY sometimes twice a day.  IT ABOUT KILLED ME!  I knew he was calling to talk with the kids about his camping adventures, but I had to ignore ALL (800) of his calls because of our surprise.  It was horrible and about made me sick with guilt.  I was hoping after call 200 that he would catch the hint and quit calling...talk about some serious persistence.  Any time others called, I'd just say the kids were busy and I'd have them call back later.  (Little did they know that later meant an entire week later).

So here's the surprise that we did for the grandparents...I made cards on a photo website that had Hudson and Harper holding our sonogram picture with the sweet baby's profile on the front of the card.

When you opened the card it had a recorded message of Hudson and Harper shouting "It's A BOY or It's A GIRL" along with two sono pictures of the baby.  One sono picture had the shot of the gender that said, "It's a ___" and at the bottom of the picture it said SURPRISE written huge.  Then at the bottom of the card it had this sweet picture:

I can't get over the sweetness of this picture.  It reminds me of the sonogram picture below of Harper sucking her thumb too.  I love it.

It was fun surprising our family.  They had NO IDEA we even had a sonogram, so it was a total surprise.  I loved it even though it nearly killed me.  HA!  It was also fun announcing the sweet name of our baby.  No one knew what our final picks were, so it was a double surprise!!  

Soooo...I'm going to keep it a secret just a LITTLE LONGER from my blogger friends because this guessing game is just TOO FUN!  I want to know who you think it is baking away in my tummy....Is it Holton or Hadley???  (Yup, we had to stick with the H's).
