Holton at 2 months

2 MONTHS!!??  What a hunk of love we have on our hands.  This precious thing gets more lovable everyday.  The 4 of us are completely smitten with this baby boy.  It's hard for me to remember my life before him.  How we lived so long without him, I'll never know.  He is the perfect addition to our lives, and brings us all so much joy.  Watching his cute little smiles come up when we talk to him is the sweetest thing ever.

At 2 months Holton will travel for the first time (tomorrow) to Tyler to visit family.  I am certain he will be loved on and completely adored by everyone he sees.  (I know big brother and sister won't be lacking in love too).  Holton right now is really taking in the world around him. He really watches us and follows us with his eyes.  He also is awake for a good part of the day now too.  He naps great, especially in the car and shopping at La Cantera (HA)!  Since the weather has been gorgeous, Holt and I have had weekly dates to La Cantera while the kids are in school.  It's been so nice getting out, and Holton has proven to be my sweet shopping buddy.  We go hang out in the Nordstroms ladies lounge area while he nurses (or once in the Gap dressing room---you gotta do what you gotta do)!  We have met friends for breakfast or lunch which has been fun filling our days.  I also love our mornings when the kids are at school and Holton has my 100% attention to just love him up.  Priceless moments.

When we get back from Tyler, I am going to make the switch with Holton from our room to his room.  Right now he is waking up 1 time in the middle of the night and goes right back to sleep.  He then will sleep anywhere from 6:30 on.  We'll see how this time changes helps us out.  Looking forward to Ms. Harper sleeping past 7.  :)  Hud, he's a good sleeper & sleeps the latest of us all.

Probably my most favorite part of the day right now is on Tuesdays or Thursdays when we don't have a single thing to do.  The mornings are so sweet because the kids and I just veg out in our jammies.  Hudson and Harper love to hold Holton or sit and talk to him while he watches.  It's such a sweet time with all 3.  I'd love to freeze time with them all.  I love each stage that they are right now.
