Verse 5/24

Is it just me, or does 15 days FLY BY fast??  I cannot believe we are on verse 5!  I love each verse, and I love the girls I am doing this with!  Here's the recap along with the new one!
  • 1--Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:6-7
  • 2--Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for you souls.  Matthew 11:28-29
  • 3--So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.  For what is seen is temporary,    but what is unseen is eternal.  2 Corinthians 4:18
  • 4--The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save.  He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.  Zephaniah 3:17
  • 5--Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.  1 Tim 4:12 (NLT)
My girlfriend, Brianna, chose this verse for us.  I love what she wrote in her e-mail to us with why she picked it.

...I love this verse because it gives me hope and confidence in any stage I am in life. It is just a good verse to have and hold onto. To be an example in ALL you do, say and live. When I was asked to help lead the summer bible study, last summer, I was full of self doubt that I couldn't do it because of my inexperience and age. God gave me this verse and reminded me that David was a boy when he defeated Goliath. It's through our life, the way we act and behave that ages us, not our actual age. I pray this verse brings us hope and accountability to be an EXAMPLE in all we do!

AMEN to that!!  I am so very thankful that the Lord blessed me with wonderful Christian friends here in San Antonio.

And what good is a blog post without pictures???

I love this.  I had the camera in hand from taking pics of Holton, and I am so glad I was able to capture this moment before bed.

I found out today that Kindergarten Round-up is at the end of this month for this handsome guy.  I can't let myself sit and think about that because I really could just weep over it.  Looks like the next chapter of our lives is coming whether we are ready for it or not.  Gotta just soak up these next few months and enjoy our jammie days!

Great Bible verse, applicable to all of us. Of course, I love the pics too. Holton is growing so fast, and I can't believe Hudson will be in school. I, too, don't want to think about it yet! Mini

  3. I love that last bible verse. Fitting for us young momma's and girls in their 20's. Holton's chubby cheeks make me want to eat him up!!!! Seriously!!! And I can't believe the words Kindergarten Round-up are on this blog talking about your little Hudson. No way is it time for him to start school!!!
