6, 4, & 6 months
Yesterday I took all 3 kiddos to the pediatrician for their well-check appointments (totally SOLO). Ya, definitely not my brightest moments. It was tough and pretty stressful. Those stinkin 4 year old shots are BRU-TAL! Their check-ups were great. All 3 are healthy and perfect. Which is something I don't stop and give thanks for enough. Good health is the greatest blessing of all.
The dr's apt was easy, breezy until we got to their immunizations. That's when the craziness began. I decided to let Harper go first because I knew if she watched Holton it would make her experience even worse. Harper didn't see it coming, and OH MY GOODNESS did the tears come. It was so sad. She immediately wanted me to hold her. So there I was holding a screaming crying Harper and it was now Holton's turn. Now Holton is screaming and I had both of them in my arms. I looked over at Hudson who had the face of, "don't look at me." Huddy got the golden ticket yesterday. No shots for H-man. (thank goodness).
Trying to get out of the office was nuts. Harper did not stop crying and wanted me to hold her & Holton was crying. I am sure the people in the waiting room were thinking I was a crazy, frazzled woman. At least it's over and behind me now.
Here's the kids stats (I was told their percentages, but they weren't written down on the sheets. All 3 were right on their growth line):
Hudson--
49 lbs
45 1/4 "
Harper--
31 lbs
39"
Holton--
19.1 lbs
27 1/2"
While yesterday was completely nuts, I left there feeling very thankful for my healthy bunch!
Love,
Allison
