I cannot believe how fast this summer has flown by. Mr. Hud himself will be a kindergartner in less than 2 weeks. I'd be lying if I didn't say that the dwindling days of summer didn't make the pit in my stomach greater. I know it's just one of those things that once that first day comes and goes, it'll be ok. Over the last week or two Hudson has been extra lovey and sweet with his mommy. I don't know if he can feel that his mama needs it or what, but I sure thank God when that big ol' boy wants to crawl up in my lap for no reason other than to be loved on. I am thankful for those sweet moments I have with him. I've been home with him everyday for 6 years. I just cannot fathom my day without him with me. ---Oh goodness, how will I get through that first day???
On another subject, Matt and I celebrated our 8th anniversary at the end of July. It is my most favorite day of the year. I love celebrating our love together. It was wonderful anniversary and we were able to squeeze in 2 hot-dates that week. Oh how I love dating Matt Mullins. :) I love nothing more than being his wife. The last 8 years have been a blast. He is hands down the love of my life.
This past week we spent in Tyler celebrating my so-precious-want-to-kiss-and-squeeze-you-so-much-it-hurts NEPHEW who turned 1!
My oh my how he is one of the greatest loves in my heart. Camden is nothing but pure JOY. I am so thankful to be his aunt. It pains my heart to not be with him everyday. :)We had a blast in Tyler. The kids had a great time with their cousin, and Camden sure loved his cousins. Being around Camden has made my grip on Holton even tighter. Cam is a BUSY BOY. That sweet thing wants to be in on every bit of action that is going on around him & he doesn't slow down. I did get a few good snuggle times in. Some times I would flat not let the child go until that back was bowed and I knew he wanted down. What can I say?? I love him.
One of the highlights of the week was going to The Villages Water Park that is literally a 5 minute land master ride from my dad's house. It was the kid's most favorite part of the week. Hudson rode all the water slides and did not want to leave. In fact he begged everyday after that if we could go back. I'm sure this will be a must do every time we head to Tyler.

It's always fun taking rides on Daddy Pop's land master.
Camden's birthday was so sweet. He had a great turnout of guests, and Cam sure does not need one new toy---ever. HA! He got some great gifts. It was so great celebrating the birthday boy. He has made our world so much brighter.
I love these 4!

Camden DUG in his smash cake. He was so funny.
Happy First Birthday Cammy Wammy.....You are one loved little man!
I could not have dreamed of a happier baby.
I've already blown this one up for Holton's room. I love it because it's not posed by us...they are just checking each other out.
I love that Holton has a life long best friend right there.
It's worth noting that my sister is a baby-hog. I say that jokingly, but she really is. She is pretty tight with Holton and loooves giving him his bath. She's so sweet with all of the kids. Hudson, Harper, and Holton sure love their Nana and Colt!!
We made it home Sunday evening. It's always so good to be home. It's amazing how you can leave a sparkling clean house only to have it destroyed in seconds after arriving. Matt had a package waiting on the front porch when we got back. He had ordered a tent a few weeks ago and alas it made it. Hudson was so excited about it that he spent the last 2 nights sleeping in our front room in his sleeping bag. Now that is my kind of camping. HA!
We are getting all geared up for our staycation this weekend. It's going to be so much fun. We cannot wait. Little H-man will be 7 months old on Friday. Can't believe it. He is just so much fun right now.
Next week we plan to lay low, sleep late, and enjoy our last week of no alarm clocks and to-do lists. It'll be great!
Gotta love camping inside your house. :)
