Sunday was one of the best days we had. From start to finish it was wonderful. We began our day in Rockefeller Center having brunch outside while watching people ice-skate. It was a BEAUTIFUL morning. Not a cloud in the sky and perfectly crisp. We drank sooo much coffee that I think it was well after noon before we didn't need a potty break every 20 minutes. We spent a good part of our morning just watching people ice-skate. I loved it.
When we finished we decided we would try and tour the NBC studios since we were right there by it. Once we got in line to get our tickets this group of ladies said they had 2 extra and needed to give them away. What a way to save 45 bucks! We totally lucked out with them and our tour started in 10 minutes. It was really fun. We saw the set of Dr. Oz, Jimmy Fallon, SNL, & the HUB for NBC around the world. Our tour guides were really funny. We were glad we did the tour. As soon as we finished we had an hour to get over to the August Wilson Theatre for the matinee JERSEY BOYS! OH MY GOODNESS--IT.WAS.SOOO.GOOD! Jersey Boys was a highlight of our NYC vacation. It was Fantastic. The music was great, the talent was unbelievable, and the crowd was FULL of energy. It's a show we could see over and over and over again...and we plan on it!

After the show we headed over to Little Italy for dinner. We sat outside & had some delicious pasta and vino....oh so romantic.
Once dinner was over we did what every tourist does on their NY vacation and headed for dessert at Serendipity. It was about an hour wait, so we were able to leave and walk around while we waited. The FAMOUS Frozen Hot Chocolate was good---however Matt's was HEAVEN. Sinfully delicious. Our plan was to split dessert, but you have to spend a certain amount per person. My advice to a traveler would be go and split dinner and dessert. Their menu looked delicious.
After dessert we walked around a bit more and then called it a night. It was one FULL day...but one of our favorites that's for sure!!
