More Catching Up!!

The biggest happenings with this little cutie above is that he became a WALKER on April 1st.  He has been taking steps for weeks now and we kept thinking 'any day now...'  Well on Sunday Holty mastered the art of standing up and he hasn't looked back since.  We are so proud of our sweet boy.  He started walking at 14 1/2 months just like his big bro.  Here's a video below of his BIG DAY!!

A few weeks ago Hudson had his bike rodeo at school.  He was so excited about it.  He loves riding his 'big kid bike' that Daddy Pops and Grammy got him for Christmas, so this little rodeo was right up his alley.  He did a great job with great determination.  It just so happened Mini and Papa were in town to see Hudson go.

Huddy Bud all ready for his BIKE RODEO!

Harper had her class Easter party on Wednesday.  It was so much fun.  It was a combined party with another class and it turned out to be one of the cutest parties I had been to yet.  The mom who put it on did a wonderful job.  She bought a TON of baby chickens for the kids to abuse love on.  Those little chicks were the star of the show that is for sure.  And my little animal lover did not want to leave their sides.  She was so gentle with them and had no problem getting on to those that were not.  She cradled the chicks in her hands like she had always had one.  It really was a precious sight watching her love on those chickies.  Harper has a wonderful class and we love her teacher so much.  It has been a great year for our Harper-girl.

She had to let baby brother in on the fun.  Holton squeaked and squealed with every sight of an animal.

Look at that sweet face!
waiting in line for the pinata.

We have been soaking up this gorgeous weather.  I took the kids the other day for a picnic at our neighborhood park.  It was really fun for the 4 of us.  Hudson was such the helper with Holton and loved pushing him in the swing.
After a sonic run last weekend---I loved seeing that big grin behind me.

Having a great day with my loves.

We are looking forward to our long weekend and have a lot of fun things planned with the kids.  The most important part of our weekend will be celebrating the true meaning of Easter.  It is always so important to stop, remember, and give thanks for all that He has done in our lives.  This Easter will be no exception, and I look forward celebrating that He is Risen!
