My blog got a much needed make-over from Fabulous Kelly, whom I adore. I knew I wanted to change the name of my blog for quite a while. This blog is for my kids. It's a love-letter/journal to my babies from their mommy. I love that this blog has our life captured since I was a new mom with a 3 month old. It really has become a treasure to me. When reflecting over what to name our blog & brainstorming with Matt, it hit me. Whenever I send my kids off--school, play-date with friends, church...anywhere I tell them to 'shine bright' or 'be a light' or 'be shiny'...They know what it means when I say that. That it means to be set apart, be different, to stand out, to be kind, compassionate, loving, a good listener, a good friend....we talk a lot about the light we become when we love Jesus. Since this blog is for them, there is no greater name for this blog than Shine Bright.
---Matt and I just got back from a week away on a much needed vacation. It was beyond wonderful. Now we are right in the middle of moving. We close on both houses on Wednesday and start the moving process. We are excited!!! Lots of updating coming!!! :)
